Sir Peter Ustinov as paragon
Sir Peter Ustinov, who won the Oscar© twice, has been
an UNICEF Ambassador since 1968. By his international reputation and his constant dedication he contributed to moving the public focus on the children's misery more than any other celebrity did.
In addition to his cooperation with UNICEF, he founded his own foundation in 1999 which aims at supporting excellent help projects led and controlled by experienced experts on site. In his last years, Sir Peter has additionally been dedicated to fighting prejudice.
To the question if his humanitarian work is nothing but just a drop in the ocean, Sir Peter answered:
"It may be a drop in the ocean, but this is never lost."
