Peter Ustinov School in Hanover-Ricklingen

Founded: Foundation of the school in 1948 as "Volksschule 63" in Hanover-Ricklingen, Nordfeldstraße.
From 1950 on, the school was named "Volksschule Nordfeldstraße", from 1973 on the name was "GHS Nordfeldstraße" until 1978 when it was named "Hauptschule Nordfeldstraße".
In 1984 the school moved to Munzeler Straße.
Due to a change in the educational system in Lower-Saxony, the secondary schools now also included fifth and sixth grades. This led to an increase in students which made it necessary for the school to move into another building in the Nordfeldstraße.
