A close and trusted associate of Sir Peter Ustinov, Dr. Grosche, together with the Foundation Council, continued to develop the Foundation wisely and circumspectly in order to ensure that children in Germany and the world have better development opportunities.
The significance of the Foundation today is due to his considerable humanity and his wonderful gift of placing the “Ustinov spirit” in the hearts of many people. His winning enthusiasm in conjunction with his considerable personal modesty has filled the Foundation culture with life and spirit. With his impressive technical expertise and integrity Dr. Grosche made a considerable contribution to the esteem in which the Foundation is held. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to him, including in the name of the countless children who the Foundation has supported to date.
It has been a great honour for us to experience his genuine helpfulness and consideration towards colleagues. He will remain an example to us. We grieve with his family and take leave from a wonderful person.
