Successful premiere of the Ustinov Opera School in Gelsenkirchen
Great performance for the Ustinov Opera School on 16 July in the music theatre Gelsenkirchen! Together with the Opera School Talent in Gelsenkirchen, about 40 children from the Ustinov Opera School in Essen brought the fairy-tale opera "Kater Moshe (Tomcat Moshe)" to the stage for the first time.

Big final concert of the education project “RevierOrgeln” in Essen
For adults, the organ is the queen of instruments. For children ears it is mostly strange – big, thundering, serious. But almost every church, every concert hall has such an artistically finished instrument: a high-tech masterpiece dating back to ancient times. With the project “RevierOrgeln,” the instrument was brought closer to school children in Essen.

On 1 March 2010 the charity Kinderhilfe Afghanistan, a long-term cooperation partner of the Peter Ustinov Foundation, opened an orphanage in Afghanistan. This will be a home for four hundred orphans from the five eastern provinces.
