A school for peace

Picture 5: On March 15, 2004, the dream came true: Finally, following 20 years without a school, 600 girls and 300 boys attend school and learn. This was a very special day for all girls because they were not allowed to attend school during the Taliban regime. The Peter Ustinov Foundation bore all operating costs and salaries in 2004.
